Fx.Scroll Incompatable with IE

Reported by Le Jeune Renard | June 6th, 2009 @ 11:43 PM | in 1.3.1.1

I have managed to construct a photo gallery with Mootools using the Scroll effect. It works perfectly fine in Firefox, but fails to act normally in Internet Explorer. I will include a link to a version of my site in which I placed various console.log()s in order to understand what is causing the difference. I log the position passed to the start() function in the toElement() function in Fx.Scroll and I noticed that the values were not the same in IE vs Firefox. It seemed that Firefox passed the position of the given element relative to the element passed in the constructor of the Fx.Scroll and it seemed that IE passed the position of the given element to the current position of the scroll area.

I get errors in IE (which has no console, right?) Can you verify this example is working in IE?

    • Tag changed from bug, fx, getposition, more, position, scroll to internet explorer, fx.scroll, getposition, position

Should be reverified, so I'll mark as unverified for now.

This appears to be fixed, copied that example into this jsfiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/arian/SmuTu/1/ with mootools 1.3, and it seems to work fine!
