Examples for using Swiff to JS comms out of date

Been trying to get this to work for two days now following the examples here:


and various other sites that give tips on how to patch the above up to get them working but nothing is happening.

My onload event (callBack?) in the js never gets called, how do I know when the flash file it loaded, etc.

Would love to write something up myself but can't get the damn thing working to start with. Can we have either an updated tutorial or a whole new one please?

    You should try asking your question at the user group where people might be able to help you out:

    Make sure you include a sample that we can easily see where you might have a problem.

    Please note that Swiff doesn't have a built in onLoad event. You should trigger a call back from your ActionScript using"onLoad"); when everything you need in your Flash file has loaded completely (Note the String). Using a debug version of Flash Player, make sure that your Flash file actually sends that callback.
