IFrame domready & safari

Reported by Ryan Mitchell | July 18th, 2008 @ 08:51 PM | in 1.3.0 rc2 (closed)

Safari (v3) doesn't fire the domready event on the iframe window that gets created, but instead fires it on the parent window...

ie if you create a mootools IFrame element, then within the page you are loading into it have a window.addEvent("domready",function() { ... }); , the code never runs in safari (does in Firefox). However it does load any "domready" event code in the parent window...
