Daniel Steigerwald

Fx string transitions broken in master.

Reported by Daniel Steigerwald | September 21st, 2008 @ 01:46 AM | in 1.2.1

window.onload = function() {
            new Element('div', {
                style: 'position: absolute; width: 100px; height: 100px; background-color: blue; left: 100px; top: 100px;'
            .set('morph', { transition: 'expo:in'})
            .morph({left: 200,top: 200});

This doesn't work.

    • Milestone changed from 2.0 to 1.2.1

    Fx.prototype.initialize is overridden in Fx.Transitions to replace strings with a functions.

    Fx.prototype.initialize is not called anymore by the new inheritance system for some reason.

    Fx.Transitions.js needs to be included before Fx.Morph / Fx.Tween because we can't retroactively modify methods that are called from subclasses.

    This wasnt a problem in 1.2 because Extending was done upon instantiation, but this isn't the case anymore.

    Fixed in my fork, somewhere, but i cant seem to find it. :P
