Reported by Mateus Pádua | October 23rd, 2008 @ 10:37 PM | in 1.2.2

I live in Brazil and dont speak english well.But I will leave here for an example you see where the problem is:

Only the yellow div (div father) that makes the effect, while the div orange, is not even being the daughter of yellow div.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">

<script language="javascript">
    window.addEvent("load", function(){
        $('testar').addEvent('click', function(){
            $('aa').tween('opacity', '0')
<div id="aa">
    <div id="bb">testtttttt</div>
<a id="testar" href="#">testar</a>

    I have a similar problem:

    An old library I wrote using Mootools 1.11 fades images in and out creating a slideshow effect.
    The effect is achieved by using the .effect function from Mootools 1.11

    Since Mootools 1.2 has Fx.Tween or .tween as a replacement for this, I updated the script using .set and .tween functions. But in Internet Explorer the images don't fade in and out!

    site using Mootools 1.11 effect:
    site using Mootools 1.2:

    This is a bit strange and almost seems a step back in my opinion...
