:contains('') selector bug

Reported by Fábio M. Costa | February 20th, 2009 @ 02:40 AM | in 1.3.0 rc2 (closed)

There's a bug at the contains("") selector where you can't use a string with spaces, like:

$$('div:contains("test content")')

It won't work.

I looked the code and its because of the Selectors.RegExps.splitter that will split this selector in two parts:

['div:contains("test', 'content")']

Theres a patch attached, i've tested it with some other selectors and they all worked fine.

What the fix does is that the splitter will now ignore strings literals.
