using fx.slide within an accordeon

Reported by mylittletony | September 3rd, 2009 @ 04:09 PM

So i'm using an accordeon, but in tab 2 called 'shows', i placed the fx.slide demopiece, because i couldnt get mine to work, it doesnt do a thing to be honest.
But even the democode does not slide out/in/hide.

What am i doing wrong here ?

    In your demo you have a pane in the accordion named "shows" - i can click that slide toggle element labeled "in the past" and the div that is hidden with fx.slide below it does indeed slide into view.

    What you need to do is set the displayed accordion pane to height: auto; in the onComplete event, that way when the slide slides out the accordion container will expand as it grows.

    You should be able to use the 'this' in the accordion's onComplete to find the displayed pane, I haven't used the accordion for a few months, but I want to say that the displayed pane is a node on that object...don't quote me on that but i think so...

    • State changed from “new” to “invalid”
    • Milestone cleared.

    I'm going to close this issue - as csuwldcat says, it's an issue to be discussed in our Google Group or on IRC. Sorry.
