getElements returns href instead of HTML object in 1.2.4

Reported by bfowle | April 9th, 2010 @ 04:16 PM

Hello,

I apologize if this is already a known issue, I couldn't find it via the search.
I have noticed in 1.2.4 that selecting <a> tags via the normal method will net the href="" portion of the element instead of the element itself.

Simple example being:

HTML:
<div id="container"> <a href="test1.html">test 1</a> <a href="test2.html">test 2</a> </div>

JS:
$('container').getElements('a');

Results:
"test1.html,test2.html"

I can also confirm using a $() selector on the individual <a> tag using an id="" identifier, also nets the same result (returning href).

HTML:
<a href="test1.html" id="test1">test 1</a>

JS:
$('test1')

Results:
"test1.html"

Therefore:
I believe it may be part of the Selectors.Utils.search function.

Thanks.
