Element.js: IFrame Cross Domain access violation

Reported by timK | April 12th, 2010 @ 01:22 PM

Hello,

Just try to use the IFrame class and has encountered the security violation problem for both IE and FF browsers.
The documentation state: "If the IFrame is from a different domain, its window and document will not be extended with MooTools methods.", but the accessing window.host will raise access violation for the Iframes from others domains.

I suppose to correct the behavior the 'host' test need to be changed:

  • if (!host || host == window.location.host) => if (host && host == window.location.host)

  • moveonload.call’ inside the 'host' test .

Regards
Tim
