$$('.classname') doesn't work in IE8 with input name="length"

Reported by Sjors vd P | June 7th, 2010 @ 03:23 PM | in 1.3.0 rc2 (closed)

In Internet Explorer 8(.06) there is a strange bug when using an input with name="length". It's easier to clarify with some code:

<input class="datepicker text date" type="text" name="measurementdate" value="" />
<input class="text" type="text" name="length" value="" />
$$('.datepicker').each(function(el, i) {
    alert('Found');
});

In the above sample no alert box will be shown in IE8. If the name of the 2nd input is changed to "alangth" there will be an alert box.

Tested with mootools 1.2.4 and hourly build.
