Text inputs break in draggable forms in FF, Safari

Reported by VirtuosiMedia | June 5th, 2008 @ 05:37 PM | in 2.0 (closed)

Text and password inputs in a draggable form do not receive the focus from a mouse click in Firefox and Safari. However, they can receive the focus by tabbing. They work as expected in Internet Explorer 7 and Opera. As far as I can tell, all other form elements work properly.

Browser versions:

Firefox 2.0.0.14 - Breaks

Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 - Works

Opera 9.25 - Works

Safari (on Windows) 3.0.4 - Breaks

MooTools versions:

Trunk 1475 - Breaks

Current downloadable beta (as of 06/05/08) - Breaks

Note: With the new format of bug reporting, I haven't been able to find a current development version of MooTools to see if this has been fixed. If it's not meant to be private now, could you also direct me to the link?

This bug is still occurring. Are there any updates to this or are there any work-arounds?

This is what the handle option is for in Drag. Specify a portion of your element that the user can click to drag things to allow the other elements to be interactive.
